The shift

Your buyers are asking AI before they visit your site.
If AI doesn't know how to recommend you, the deal starts without you.

58%
of B2B buyers now consult an AI answer engine before a vendor shortlist [1]
3.4×
more comparison queries handled by AI vs traditional search YoY [2]
71%
of category-defining prompts return the same 2–3 vendors across engines [3]

What you'll know

Six questions the audit answers — with evidence attached.

  1. 01

When buyers ask AI for tools in your category, does your brand even appear?

Mention share, recommendation share, and omission rate across a small set of buyer-intent prompts.

  2. 02

Which competitors are recommended in your place — and why?

A competitor visibility matrix showing where each rival wins citations and recommendations.

  3. 03

What does AI actually say about you?

Captured answers, screenshots, and timestamped evidence — including any misrepresentation or stale claims.

  4. 04

Which third-party sources are AI engines citing?

A source map: review sites, listicles, docs, comparison pages — and the gaps your competitors fill that you don't.

  5. 05

Why are your own pages not being cited?

Answerability, crawlability, schema, and citation-readiness review for your highest-intent pages.

  6. 06

    What's the prioritized fix list?

A roadmap of pages, sources, and content moves — sequenced by impact and effort, ready to hand to your team.

Inside the deliverable

A concise diagnostic, not a slide deck.

Every claim is backed by a captured AI answer, an engine, a date, and a source link. No vibes, no extrapolation.

How it works

A repeatable, evidence-first methodology.

Manual where it matters, automated where it scales. Every audit follows the same six steps so findings are comparable across categories and time.

  1. 1
    Define buyer-intent prompts
10–15 prompts for a Snapshot, or 25–50 prompts for Monitoring, mapped to persona, funnel stage, and category — not vanity queries.
  2. 2
    Select competitors & surfaces
3–5 named competitors across 3–5 AI / search surfaces (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Mode).
  3. 3
    Capture answers & citations
Timestamped captures, screenshots, source URLs, and engine metadata preserved for every prompt.
  4. 4
    Score mentions & misrepresentation
Recommendation, mention, omission, misrepresentation — labelled by a human reviewer, not a heuristic.
  5. 5
    Map source & content gaps
Which third-party and owned pages drive citations, and which gaps your competitors are filling.
  6. 6
    Roadmap & retest plan
A sequenced fix backlog with impact/effort, plus a retest plan to measure visibility gained.
Built for B2B SaaS

Five categories where AI search is already decisive.

SalesTech

Outbound, sequencing, intent — recommendation-heavy queries with consolidated incumbents.

MarTech

Attribution, lifecycle, analytics — buyers ask AI for "best stack for " before vendor calls.

DevTools

Heavy reliance on docs, GitHub, and listicles. Source readiness directly shapes citations.

Cybersecurity

Trust-led category. Misrepresentation in AI answers can stall procurement before it starts.

HRTech

Crowded incumbents, comparison-driven evaluations, and high listicle dependence.

Pricing

Scoped services. No unlimited promises.

Start with the $99 Snapshot to see whether the problem is real. Add $1,500/month Monitoring to re-run 25–50 prompts monthly, track movement, and prioritize changes. Use the $6,500 Sprint to fix scoped gaps.

Works best after Snapshot or Monitoring identifies the gaps. Change orders kick in if scope grows beyond the cap.
Evidence-first. No AI ranking guarantees.

Google says the fundamentals still matter for AI search experiences: useful, accessible, unique content; crawlable pages; accurate structured data; and clear source material. We do not promise rankings. We measure visibility, identify gaps, and help you improve the public evidence AI systems can understand and cite.

Proof, not theatre

We run the same loop on AI Ranking Pro.

We don't have client logos yet — and we're not going to fake any. Instead, we publish the loop we run on ourselves, in public, so you can see exactly what you'd be paying for.

FAQ

Straight answers.

  • No, and you should be skeptical of anyone who does. AI engines change frequently and don't expose rankings the way classic search does. We measure visibility, identify gaps, and help you improve the public evidence engines can understand. That's the only honest service.

  • By default: ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude. We pick 3–5 surfaces per audit based on where your category's buyers actually ask questions. Engine selection is explicit in every report.

  • Snapshots are designed as a fast paid diagnostic. Monitoring runs monthly from a fixed baseline. Sprint engagements usually run 2–4 weeks once the target gaps are selected.

  • The $99 Snapshot gives 10–15 buyer-intent prompt checks, 2–3 AI / search surfaces, up to 3 named competitors, a citation/source-gap snapshot, 3–5 prioritized next actions, and a concise report. Monitoring expands this into monthly tracking and a prioritized action queue.

  • Not in Snapshot or Monitoring — that's the Sprint. We keep measurement and implementation separate so monitoring stays unbiased and the Sprint stays scoped.

  • It's AI visibility — measuring whether AI answer engines recommend, omit, or misrepresent you. SEO fundamentals (crawlability, structured data, useful content) still apply; we layer the AI-specific evidence on top.

  • B2B SaaS is our premium ICP and where the methodology is sharpest. We can run audits for adjacent service businesses on request, but we won't oversell fit.

Next step

See where AI search puts you — before your next quarter's pipeline depends on it.

Most audits start within a week. Categories with consolidated incumbents see the biggest deltas after the Sprint.
