Cookie policy

What cookies and similar technologies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.

Last updated: May 2026

Short version — Necessary cookies and local storage keep AI Ranking Pro working. Analytics and marketing cookies stay off unless you allow them through the cookie banner or preferences panel. We do not use third-party advertising cookies by default and we do not sell personal data.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, can remember preferences or support site features. In this policy, “cookies” includes those similar technologies.

Categories we use

  • Necessary cookies. Required for security, consent preferences, theme settings, sign-in/session functionality, and core site operation. These cannot be turned off through our consent tool because the site needs them to function.
  • Analytics cookies. Optional measurement that helps us understand aggregate traffic, page performance, referrers, and which content is useful. These are used only where permitted by law or consent.
  • Marketing cookies. Optional campaign measurement or attribution. These are off unless you allow them. We do not use cross-site advertising profiles by default.

Cookie and storage list

The exact names may change as the site evolves, but AI Ranking Pro is designed around a minimal cookie setup:

  • Consent preference. Stores whether you accepted, rejected, or customized analytics/marketing choices. Category: necessary. Duration: typically 6–12 months.
  • Theme preference. Remembers light/dark mode choice. Category: necessary. Duration: until changed or browser storage is cleared.
  • Session or authentication token. Keeps a signed-in workspace session active where login is enabled. Category: necessary. Duration: session-based or as configured for account security.
  • Security and anti-abuse data. Helps protect forms, sessions, and the service from abuse. Category: necessary. Duration: limited operational periods.
  • Analytics identifiers or events. Measures aggregate usage, page views, referrers, and performance where analytics are enabled. Category: analytics. Duration: varies by analytics provider and configuration.
  • Campaign attribution. Helps understand which approved campaigns led to visits or enquiries where marketing cookies are enabled. Category: marketing. Duration: limited campaign measurement periods.

We aim to keep cookies proportionate to the service and avoid unnecessary tracking.

Your choices

  • Use the cookie banner when you first visit to accept all optional cookies or customize choices.
  • Use “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time to reopen preferences.
  • Use your browser settings to delete or block cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may break sign-in, preferences, forms, or other features.
  • If you previously consented to optional cookies and later disable them, future optional tracking will be blocked where our consent tool controls it. You may also need to clear existing cookies in your browser.

Third-party cookies and providers

Some cookies or similar technologies may be set by vendors we use for hosting, analytics, email, payment, security, or embedded functionality. We choose vendors that are appropriate for the business purpose and configure optional analytics/marketing tools to respect consent where required.

If we add new optional analytics or marketing tools, we will update this policy or the consent configuration as needed.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when cookies, vendors, or legal requirements change. We will update the “Last updated” date above and provide additional notice if required.
